Long-time Frankfurt resident and history buff, Jo Cothran Ator and husband, run the well-known Frankfurt on Foot tour company. November 9 has been called the schicksalstag (day of fate) by many. It is the day that left liberal Robert Blum was executed, the monarch ended in 1918, the Hitler putsch was attempted in 1923, Kristallnacht occurred in 1938, and the day the Berlin wall fell in 1989. Jo will introduce us to the many events that occurred right here in Frankfurt, with particular focus on Jewish history here and various memorable locations one can visit.
