Acquaint yourself with France's most celebrated sights in Normandy. Like Giverny (the gardens of Claude Monet), Rouen (home of Jean D'arc), Bayeux (Bayeux tapestry), and the shores, war memorials and museums of the D-Day landings. On your way to Normandy and back, via bus, you will have time to visit the cathedrals of Reims and Chartres with its famous stained glass windows. The excursion will be topped off with a visit to the Abbey of Mont-St. Michel and the nearby beaches, which have some of the highest tidal variations in the world.
